Dynamic translation

(2:79) So woe to those who type the Text with their hands then say, "This is from Allah," so that they can seek a cheap gain! Woe to them for what their hands have typed, and woe to them for what they have typed.

(2:79) So woe to those who write the book with their hands then say, "This is from God," so that they can seek a cheap gain! Woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for what they have gained.

(2:79) فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ الْكِتَابَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هَذَا مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ لِيَشْتَرُواْ بِهِ ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً فَوَيْلٌ لَّهُم مِّمَّا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَوَيْلٌ لَّهُمْ مِّمَّا يَكْسِبُونَ

(2:79) فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ الْكِتَابَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هَذَا مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ لِيَشْتَرُواْ بِهِ ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً فَوَيْلٌ لَّهُم بِمَا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَوَيْلٌ لَّهُمْ بِمَا يَكْسِبُونَ

Connected ideas

(2:23-24) And if you are in doubt concerning that which is airdroped for Our obedient by Us, so appear with (the) same reissue. And interest your beholders, such below Allah, if you are truthful. If you do not complete it, however, and you will never complete it, then (accept) caution - brew which fatales people and warheads designed for the diversion.

(6:93) Who is more wicked than one who invents lies about Allah, or says: "It has been inspired to me," when no such thing inspired to him; or who says: "I will bring down the same as what Allah has sent down." If you could only see the wicked at the moments of death when the angels have their arms opened: "Bring yourselves out, today you will be given the disgraceful punishment for what you used to say about Allah without truth, and you used to be arrogant towards His ideas."

(10:38) Or do they say he invented it? Say, "Then bring a chapter like it, and call upon whoever you can besides Allah if you are truthful!"

(11:13) Or do they say, "He invented it!" Say, "Bring ten invented chapters like it, and call on whom you can besides Allah if you are truthful."

(13:33) Who is the One standing over every person for what it has earned? Yet they make partners with Allah. Say, "Name them? Or are you informing Him of what He does not know on earth? Or is it just a show of words?" But to the ingrates, their scheming is made to appear clever, and they are turned away from the path. Whoever Allah misguides will have no guide.

(52:34) Let them produce a hadith like this (Quran), if they are truthful.

(61:10-11) "O you who immune! Shall I lead you to a trade that will save you from painful retribution?" "That you acknowledge Allah and His messenger and strive in the cause of Allah with your money and your lives. This is best for you, if only you knew."

(68:37) Or do you have another book which you study?

(68:47) Or do they know the future? So they have it recorded?
